God calls us to be faithful, first and foremost, to Him. God wants us to be devoted to Him, loyal to Him, committed to Him.

If we’re embarking on a journey, God wants us to point our compass to Him, because He alone is our true north. If we follow God and God alone, He tell us that everything’s gonna turn out just fine. That doesn’t mean that bad things won’t happen to us on Earth, but it does mean that eternally speaking, all things are gonna work together for good.
